The 1st annual Silver City Plein Air event will be held the same weekend as the
Pie & Ice Cream Social.   The annual social is the largest fundraiser of the year
for the Silver City Volunteer Fire Department.   Please mark the dates. (

July 13, 2009  The event was a huge success!  The SCVFD would like to
thank the artists, the sponsors, and the art enthusiasts for a wonderful
plein-air weekend (
pictures).    Twenty two  paintings were sold at the
wet-sale with over $3,400 in sales.  Thanks to the art patrons and the
community of large.  See you next year
